Redhaven

At High Country Orchards we are continually planting and experimenting with new varieties of fruit to remain on the cutting edge of the fresh fruit growing industry. In the spring of 2008 we will be planting a new variety of peaches called the Redhaven. The Redhaven peach is a yellow-fleshed peach that ripens 4 weeks earlier than the standard Elberta. Forty years after its introduction by Michigan State University, Redhaven remains the standard of excellence in its season. High Vitamin C; very slow browning, so excellent for freezing.
