Redglobe

Approximate availabilty at HCO is July 30 to August 4.

Along with the Topaz, the Redglobe peach variety is very attractive in its shape and color. This variety is one of the most reliable varieties in terms of succesful cropping. It ripens about 13 days before Elbertas and has more of a bright red/orange hue rather than the deep rich red like Paul Fridays. This variety of peach tree has a very vibrant blossom in the spring compared to most other peach varieties. The Redglobe is ideal for baking as it holds up very well after it has been picked. It is also good for canning and storing and it is a freestone peach.
